Plant Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Manage equipment parts inventory across warehouse and plant locations, maintaining records, item setup, pricing, and reorder points within the ERP system. Review plant purchase requirements to issue purchase orders, expedite critical spare parts, and monitor inventory levels while investigating variances. Source and evaluate suppliers for competitive pricing, support bidding and contract management, and prepare reports on inventory performance and aging metrics. Conduct regular inventory reviews and travel periodically to support operations at other locations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3–7 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory control, and purchasing processes
- Ability to travel periodically to support inventory reviews at other locations
