Job Summary
Lead the Human Resources department by directing employee engagement, talent strategy, recruiting, and policy administration. Provide guidance to leadership on organizational policy, partner on plant talent needs, and serve as the link between management and employees to resolve work-related problems. Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for production workers, analyze statistical data on personnel issues, and develop recommendations for policy improvement. Supervise subordinate staff, create learning and development programs, and handle discipline and termination in accordance with company policy. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of human resource management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate
- Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP)
