Job Summary
Lead the Human Resource department by directing employee engagement, talent strategy, and recruiting for production and non-production roles. Advise leadership on organizational policy, interpret company practices, and resolve work-related problems while maintaining personnel records and statistical reports. Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, alongside planning learning and development initiatives. Supervise subordinate staff, handle discipline and termination in accordance with policy, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Analyze data to identify personnel issues and recommend improvements to plant policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of human resource management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate
- Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP)
