Job Summary
Plant Helper in Modena, PA under the Foremen assists with manufacturing quality products to meet customer demand in the paper manufacturing process. Follows established operating procedures for operating various equipment and trains for advancement on the equipment. Responsibilities include selecting and measuring raw materials and parts to specifications, resolving issues related to production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations, performing daily safety inspections, operating a forklift, moving finished rolls, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Experience driving fork lifts
- Ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work safely and follow all policies required
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to read, write, and fluently speak English, required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours per 8-hour shift
- Ability to walk for up to 6 hours per 8-hour shift
- Ability to bend, left, and push
