Job Summary
Diagnose insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and pest-prone areas while performing fertilization and pest management on trees, shrubs, and lawns using spray and injection tools. Monitor plant health quality and fertilizing methods post-application, then communicate progress and prescribed services to clients. Drive, maintain, and operate trucks and sprayers across on-site locations in Milwaukee, WI. Requires a valid driver's license and completion of Davey Tree training programs, with up to 25% travel expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Tech training program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping
- Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID, Pathology and knowledge of turf or tree physiology
- Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
