Job Summary
Monitor, evaluate, and provide plant health care needs for trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties by performing integrated pest management treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools. Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to diagnosis, safety procedures, and label instructions while maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles. Communicate with clients regarding site visit work and complete accurate daily record-keeping. Safely drive a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the day and work as a member of a tree care crew under supervision during the off-season. Required Qualifications
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round, performing manual labor in all weather conditions
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field
