Job Summary
Perform tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, and soil tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative. Communicate with clients regarding site visits and mix fertilizers and pesticides according to diagnosis, safety procedures, and state laws. Maintain and operate hand tools, spray equipment, and vehicles while completing accurate daily record-keeping and reporting. Safely drive a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the day and work as a crew member under supervision during the off-season. This entry-level role includes hands-on training and offers industry credential/license pay increases.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round, performing manual labor in all weather conditions
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field
