Job Summary
Monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory by inspecting plant material for pests, diseases, or other concerns. Select and apply appropriate treatments, operate spray and application equipment safely, and prepare written diagnostic reports to educate clients. Work independently to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and authorization to work in the United States. Candidates should have a degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to lawfully work in the United States
- A valid driver's license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles
- Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
- Willingness to learn plant and tree identification and safe equipment use
- The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or related experience (preferred)
