Job Summary
Plant Health Care Specialist needed to inspect trees and shrubs, diagnose pest/disease issues, and apply appropriate treatments within a defined territory. Responsibilities include monitoring and treating infestations, selecting suitable products, and preparing written diagnostic reports for clients, along with educating customers and ensuring satisfaction. The role emphasizes outdoor work, requires the ability to work autonomously, strong communication skills, willingness to complete trainings for certifications/licenses, a valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the United States. SavATree values teamwork, ongoing training, and a collaborative culture, with pay up to $30/hr based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turf-grass, or similar experience
- Tree/Plant Identification experience
- Knowledge of safely and properly using spray and application equipment
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to complete required trainings to obtain needed certifications & licenses
- Desire to work outdoors
- Valid Driver’s license to operate service-line vehicles
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
