Job Summary
Inspect plant material to identify pests, diseases, or other concerns, then select and apply appropriate treatments to promote plant health. Prepare written diagnostic reports and educate clients about their landscape while operating spray and application equipment safely. Work independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction within your specific territory. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and relevant degree or experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or plant science. We offer competitive pay ranging from $25-$35/hr plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus, along with health, dental, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass—or related experience (preferred)
- The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
- Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
- Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- A valid driver's license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
