Job Summary
Inspect plant material to identify pests, diseases, or other concerns, then select and apply appropriate treatments to promote plant health. Prepare written diagnostic reports and educate clients about their landscape while operating spray and application equipment safely. Work independently within a specific territory to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, or related fields, along with a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. SavATree is a nationwide leader in tree, shrub, and lawn care services focused on preservation and care.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass—or related experience (preferred)
- The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
- Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
- Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- A valid driver's license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
