Job Summary
Conduct daily production direction and guide the precast concrete manufacturing team through workflow coordination and staffing needs. Train employees on safe work practices, quality standards, and efficient habits while reinforcing PPE use and housekeeping. Troubleshoot floor-level issues to reduce downtime and step into production tasks to assist or cover when needed. Monitor product quality, communicate equipment concerns to leadership, and identify workflow improvements to increase efficiency. Work alongside the team in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for extended hours during peak production.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing, production, construction materials, concrete, or heavy industrial experience
- Previous experience leading, training, or directing production employees
- Hands-on leadership style with willingness to work alongside the team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production needs
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
- Experience in precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
