Plant Finance Manager (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Lead all accounting and controlling activities at the plant, ensuring accurate financial management and alignment with group standards. Prepare operating budgets with various departments, design expense reports tracked against budget expectations, and drive cost transparency through standard costing and variance analysis. Act as a key financial advisor to the Plant Manager, supporting investment decisions and operational improvements while coordinating internal controls and audit interfaces. Monitor and optimize working capital, safeguard assets through effective financial controls, and lead a team of three finance professionals. Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering to support business initiatives and strategic projects. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and US-GAAP, including SOX compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a finance role with leadership responsibility
- Strong expertise in accounting and controlling, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting and financial analysis
- Solid knowledge of local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and US-GAAP, including exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g. SOX)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and plant operations, particularly costing, inventory and operational KPIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured and results-oriented working style
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including team development and effective stakeholder management
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Fluency in German and English (business level)
