Job Summary
Plant Engineering Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance of equipment, systems and facilities at the Menomonie, WI site, providing supervision and technical direction to Plant Engineering personnel. Responsibilities include promoting safety, leading incident investigations and WIMs, coaching and developing staff, overseeing CMMS usage, regulatory compliance, training completion, and participation in hiring internships and contract workers. The role supports plant strategic priorities, ensures 24/7 operations coverage when required, and may involve overseeing related functions (custodial, buildings/grounds, stockroom) and procurement of specialty parts. Requires an Associate or higher in a technical field (or Bachelor's) with 3–5+ years manufacturing experience, leadership experience, and relevant certifications, with travel up to 10% and relocation possible. The position is US-based in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with compensation ranges and benefits described, and requires legal work authorization without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in a related technical field with minimum 5 years manufacturing experience OR Bachelor's Degree or higher with minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
- One year of leadership/supervisory/management experience
- Experience with daily tier management and Kaizen improvement projects
- CRL, CMM, CMRP, CMRT, CRE or CAMA certifications (preferred)
- Understanding of Environmental and Regulatory Compliance, NFPA, OSHA & MSHA Standards (MSHA for mining sites)
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Ability to oversee training completion, CMMS utilization, policy administration, regulatory compliance, and participate in hiring internships, student helpers, and contract workers
- Responsibility for ensuring safety and leading incident investigations
- Experience supervising maintenance tasks on machines, systems, and facilities to maximize OEE
- Experience in procuring specialty maintenance parts
- Flexible work schedules including on-call and 24/7 operations as required
- Travel up to 10% domestically
