Job Summary
Plant Engineering Supervisor role providing technical leadership for manufacturing and process systems. Acts as SME to operations to ensure equipment and facilities are designed, operated, and maintained to meet production needs. Responsibilities include implementing engineering projects, day-to-day oversight of an engineering team (4-7 engineers), and managing contractors. Leads equipment/process improvements and commissioning protocols (IQ/OQ, CIP/SIP). Participates in RCAs and deviation investigations, performs CAPA tasks, and oversees change control and lot-release-related activities. Initiates EDCRs and authors/reviews commissioning protocols, batch records, and SOPs resulting from CAPA initiatives. Maintains regulatory training requirements (e.g., ComplianceWire, SAP Learning Portal) and functions as a qualified departmental trainer. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline is required with 5-10 years of biotech industry experience.
