Plant Engineering Manager

Lead site engineering function covering Automation and Process Engineering by deploying BD Excellence principles such as Lean, CI, and Zero Loss mindsets. Execute multi-year engineering strategy aligned to the site master plan, cascading SQDC KPIs across technical teams. Champion root cause problem-solving and Kaizen initiatives to eliminate losses in safety, quality, and downtime while driving Cost-to-Win portfolio delivery. Partner with Assess Manager to establish asset care strategies ensuring high equipment uptime, optimal preventive maintenance, and enhanced OEE. Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization through talent development, succession planning, and coaching on data-driven decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to support new product introductions, capacity expansion, and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to BD Quality Systems and governance standards while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
