Plant Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Responsible for specifications and design of plant facilities and equipment, controlling capital and maintenance budgets, and acting as a project manager for smaller projects. The role includes managing the PSM program, communicating with customers, conferring with vendors for product specifications, analyzing maintenance workforce utilization, and providing technical advice on plant operations. Required qualifications include a B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 7-10 years plant maintenance/engineering/project engineering experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- demonstrated record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility
- Ability to increase responsibilities after a period of time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S
- Experience in PSM program implementation and maintenance
