Job Summary
Plant Engineering Manager to lead a 50+ person maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include strategic planning for plant engineering and maintenance, overseeing capital projects such as new construction and facility upgrades, developing project plans, budgets, and timelines, coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders, implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, ensuring safety compliance, and managing annual operating and capital budgets. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 10+ years of plant engineering/maintenance experience with proven leadership, strong technical knowledge of plant systems, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant engineering and maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong technical knowledge of plant equipment and systems
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
