Job Summary
Plant Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment, facilities, and overall reliability in a manufacturing environment. Lead mechanical, electrical, and control-systems troubleshooting and optimization; supervise the Maintenance Department; install, commission, and start up new or modified equipment; drive safety, environmental compliance, and plant efficiency; manage maintenance budgets and coordinate vendor/contractor support; train operators and maintenance personnel; provide 24/7 technical support for urgent plant issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (preferred) with 2+ years of hands-on engineering or maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing process equipment with demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems
- Field-oriented engineer with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Experience supervising or supporting maintenance teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer-based maintenance systems
- Working knowledge of process control systems and equipment reliability practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills with potential to grow into operations or supervisory roles
