Job Summary

Manage daily engineering operations within the production plant by reviewing ticket details for lifters, strands, stress envelopes, and connectors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and other disciplines for aligned engineering requirements while investigating load capacities of embedded hardware and special formwork. Integrate engineering standards into production practices, communicate daily with production and quality control teams to resolve issues, and conduct research for process improvements and cost savings. Develop and test panel-handling hardware, update production based on results, and oversee plant quality certification processes including PCI reviews and non-conformance report resolutions. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering with knowledge of building codes and concrete structures. Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Overall knowledge in engineering, production, and construction processes of building structures
  • Knowledge of concrete structures
  • Understanding building codes, standards, and specifications relevant to the design criteria
  • Overall understanding of design, production, and building erection processes
  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
