Job Summary
The Plant Engineer manages daily engineering operations within the production plant, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, civil, and other disciplines to ensure alignment with engineering requirements and project specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing ticket details for lifters, strands, and stress envelopes; investigating load capacities of embedded hardware and formwork; integrating engineering standards into production practices; communicating with production, quality control, and erection teams to resolve issues; conducting R&D for process improvements, efficiency, standardization, and cost savings; developing and testing panel-handling hardware; overseeing plant quality certification processes (e.g., PCI) and resolving NCRs with cross-functional teams; and applying lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency while maintaining safe practices and high quality. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and knowledge of concrete structures, building codes/standards, and design and erection processes. Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required; PPE and safe-work practices are emphasized. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Knowledge of concrete structures
