Job Summary
Manage capital projects from concept to completion, optimizing production processes and minimizing downtime through Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, and other high-impact strategies. Lead the maintenance team by delegating tasks, enforcing safety policies, and guiding work assignments to ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations. Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to operational challenges, troubleshooting equipment failures and analyzing data to drive continuous improvement via Key Performance Indicators. Step in seamlessly when key personnel are absent to guarantee uninterrupted plant operations and develop innovative technology projects that enhance facility capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience required; may work long hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering or related field
- 8+ years' relevant experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership

- Advanced technical skills in the mechanical/electrical fields (e.g. PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, etc.)

- Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order process, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, etc.
- Ability to use exposure monitoring equipment, interpret and communicate results
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate and express ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and oral formats
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
