Job Summary

Manage capital budget projects by preparing appropriation requests, obtaining bids, and completing equipment installations while developing SOPs and PMs. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures, design new equipment, and implement process control technology upgrades to improve plant operations. Assist the maintenance department with preventive programs, purchase repair parts, and liaise with plant control systems including fire and chiller systems. Mentor the Electrical Apprentice and prepare annual facility audits to assess physical conditions and set project priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred or, equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of two years manufacturing experience
  • Strong competency in PLC programming, AutoCAD, and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of industrial electricity (power distribution, motor controls, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, possess leadership and training skills
  • Domestic travel up to 25%
  • Ineligible for hybrid work
  • Physical ability to access all plant areas
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
