Job Summary
Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance Technical Services to develop annual capital plans and lead projects from strategic action plans through execution, ensuring scope, costs, and schedules are met. Manage and schedule project elements to ensure minimal interruption to plant operations, delivering finished projects as designed on time and on budget with no safety, food safety, or environmental issues. Assist in selecting and validating new equipment while engineering designs to optimize systems and reduce costs. Lead weekly project update meetings with collaborative team members and assess vendor competence and financial status. Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with demonstrated project management experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries. Must possess working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, and ISO 9000 design requirements. Onsite role in Massillon for a company with over $1 billion in annual sales.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline
- Demonstrated Project Management experience as a hands-on project manager delivering project scope from concept to closure on-time and on-budget, scheduling work to promote maximum amount completed with minimal plant downtime, resulting in higher plant efficiency
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
