Job Summary
Plant Engineer executes mechanical, electrical and process-related solutions to improve safety, quality and site processes; leads capital projects from conceptualization to completion; provides technical guidance to Maintenance; directs process improvement and machine-modification initiatives; supports 5S and safety deployments; requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4-7 years in a related field; on-site in Blythewood, SC with multiple SC-area locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (prefer Electro-Mechanical)
- 4-7 years in related industry (plastic or converting environment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of machine design capability
- Knowledge of Mechanical Building Codes and OSHA standards
- Experience in continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
