Job Summary
Plan, design, develop, and manage plant operational improvements, capital projects, and cost improvement initiatives. Design and develop new machinery, equipment, and infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with food plant GMPs and equipment layout standards. Lead maintenance systems and work order processes, applying preventive and predictive maintenance strategies alongside LEAN manufacturing principles. Requires 5+ years in engineering or technical manufacturing roles, 2+ years in LEAN, advanced skills in mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, fluency in CAD (preferably AutoCad), and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in an engineering or technical role in manufacturing
- 2+ years' experience in LEAN manufacturing principles and activities
- Possess advanced technical skills in the mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering
- Must be fluent in CAD, preferably AutoCad
- Strong interpersonal, technical and presentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of plant food manufacturing or packaging is desired
