Plant Engineer - B2B

Oversee maintenance department and directly supervise maintenance personnel and on-site contractors; maintain a safe working environment by ensuring regulatory and plant compliance. Identify and implement operational process improvements; contribute to capability assessment during product and process development and translate needs into functional design. Maintain plant preventive maintenance programs and utilize CMMs, including the Mechanical Integrity element of Process Safety Management. Estimate costs for layout design and monitor construction; develop and maintain critical spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and enable timely repairs. Resolve technical problems and drive production improvements; maintain maintenance/engineering records, reports, and plant drawings. Develop capital projects and submit for approval to improve efficiencies, increase capacity, lower operating costs, and/or reduce labor costs; oversee capital projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Direct outside vendors in routine and non-routine maintenance of manufacturing and building services equipment; communicate with other departments as needed. Travel to customers, vendors, other company locations, and trade shows as required.
