Job Summary
Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production and utility equipment, troubleshooting PLCs and AC/DC drive systems. Read schematics, manuals, and technical documents to complete preventive maintenance checks and document work in the CMMS. Support line systems for lubrication and resin delivery, while communicating equipment issues to maintenance and production teams. Maintain a clean, safe work area following sanitation protocols and track parts usage and inventory levels. Adhere to all safety and compliance standards including OSHA, MSS, and SOPs. Day shift 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Elgin, IL. PLC certification and 1+ year of manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Required Qualifications
- PLC certification
- 1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with maintenance work order systems and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand/power tools, meters, and material handling equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Day Shift 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Elgin, IL
