Job Summary
Performs skilled electrical tasks to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and/or modify complex industrial equipment, processes and/or systems; diagnose causes of malfunctions; perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance; assist in installation, calibration and start-up of new equipment; operate with minimal supervision and monitor quality of own work. Applies knowledge of electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial control systems, PLCs, electrical construction, high voltage power, distribution and instrumentation; executes day-to-day operations following safety, food safety, and regulatory policies (EHS/FSQR); ensures HACCP/FDA requirements are met in all food and feed processes; operates vehicles to move equipment/materials within facilities. Requires valid trade certification (309A or 442A) or Red Seal; role emphasizes safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Possession of Construction Electrician 309A or Industrial Manufacturing Electrician 442A by the Ontario College of Trades or Red Seal certification
