Job Summary
Plant Director role directing day-to-day and strategic activities of a large, complex plant to achieve EBIT targets and operating objectives. Oversees safety, production, maintenance, warehouse, quality, customer relations, continuous improvement, HR and finance; ensures GMP/quality standards, regulatory compliance, and coordination with customers and the commercial organization. Leads capital improvement projects, financial management, cost controls, and vendor/contractor relationships; develops people, drives engagement, and ensures a safe, high-performance work environment. Requires extensive plant leadership experience, experience across accounting/finance, safety, HR, and quality, and strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills. Travel up to 25%. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; minimally, Business Administration or similar; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years plant leadership experience required, including three (3) years in operation management
- Experience overseeing accounting/finance, safety and human resources, and quality
- Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods and coordination of people/resources
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; ability to write reports and business correspondence; ability to present information in group settings
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, inference, and fundamentals of geometry, trigonometry, and statistics
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 25%
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; managing teams; talent development; safety and compliance responsibilities
