Job Summary
The Plant Digital Partner acts as the primary digital relationship manager for 6–10 manufacturing sites, aligning plant priorities with enterprise digital capabilities, managing demand intake and prioritization, and enabling deployment and adoption of digital solutions. Responsibilities include representing plant priorities to enterprise digital teams, developing and maintaining plant digital roadmaps, translating plant needs into clear business requirements and implementation priorities, informing digital investment priorities, serving as the escalation point during major technology incidents, leading regular service reviews to align maintenance and operations, supporting change management (user readiness, testing, validation, and adoption), and coordinating with vendors for deployment and lifecycle management of plant hardware (industrial tablets, mobile scanners, HMIs). Requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills, working knowledge of MES/MOM and connected worker technologies, and travel to manufacturing sites (remote work environment with travel). Desirable extras include professional licenses or certifications (BRMP, PMP, Agile/Scrum, ITIL) and certifications in manufacturing technology (e.g., MESA, ISA CAP). Remote work is supported with travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in IT/OT business partnering, plant technology leadership, or technical project management within a manufacturing environment
