Plant Design Engineer (for projects in Finland)

Job Summary
Plant Design Engineer role focused on mechanical and piping design for water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities include 3D plant design and modelling (equipment layout, process piping, overall plant 3D model using AutoCAD, Cadmatic, Vertex), developing piping and mechanical design solutions, preparing equipment specifications and technical documentation, creating and maintaining 2D drawings, and participating in all project phases from pre-engineering to detailed engineering. You will support equipment selection and dimensioning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations (notably Finland). The role emphasizes high-quality, efficient design delivery across multiple concurrent projects. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with office locations in Poland (Kraków, Poznań, Łódź). Requirements include a relevant engineering degree, 3–7 years in plant engineering for water sector, English proficiency (CEFR B1), and experience with 3D engineering tools and MS Office. Nice-to-haves include international project experience (Nordics), and familiarity with AutoCAD/Cadmatic and Plant 3D.
Required Qualifications
- A Qualified Degree in Process/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in plant engineering with a focus on water sector
- Good written and verbal English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
- Working knowledge of 3D based engineering
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Cadmatic (preferred)
- Knowledge of Plant 3D (preferred)
