Job Summary
Plant Controller to oversee traditional controller duties within the Appleton, WI plant, focusing on financial reporting, inventory accuracy, and internal controls across operations, sales, and finance. Responsibilities include generating monthly results, forecasts, annual operating plans, and strategic planning; auditing product costs; monitoring labor, material, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, and returns; establishing and maintaining systems and controls to assure data integrity; driving value through effective financial management; collaborating with auditors and corporate finance. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (Masters preferred), 5–10 years of manufacturing accounting experience, at least 3 years in a controller/finance role, strong cost accounting and P&L experience, ERP experience (PeopleSoft or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Teams, and Outlook. Location: Appleton, WI; relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Masters preferred
- 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
- At least 3 years in a current Controller or Finance position
- Strong background in cost accounting
- Strong EBITDA bridge process experience
- Strong P&L reporting
- Experience working with Auditors
- Experience working with Corporate Finance
- ERP experience is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and Outlook
- ERP Familiarity: Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems would be advantageous
