Job Summary
Maintain, develop, and improve automation controls systems while troubleshooting critical issues to increase productivity and equipment uptime. Review shift reports, PLC logs, and checklists; perform periodic audits and HMI performance evaluations to ensure compliance with safety processes. Program systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc tools; evaluate new technologies and implement error proofing requirements throughout production. Participate in managerial meetings and cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement. Stay current with controls technology and complete required training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or in related fields
- 2+ year experience in industry and related equipment
- English proficiency
- Allen Bradley (Studio 5000)
- Siemens (step 7)
- C++
- C sharp
- ladder logic experience
- Ability to read drawing
- Advanced knowledge of electronic devices
- Expertise on Fanuc Roberts programming
- Knowledge on communication protocols
- Advance computer trouble shooting experience
- Travel Required: minimum
