Plant Controlling Manager

Job Summary
Analyze and communicate financial performance through detailed variance analysis versus plan, partnering with plant leadership to drive corrective actions and highlight risks. Drive plant cost performance across direct labor, raw materials, overhead, and operating expenses while ensuring adherence to internal controls and corporate accounting policies. Oversee inventory control processes including cycle counts, deviation analysis, and valuation, and lead long-term financial scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and mentor a high-performing finance team to foster data-driven decision-making. Support legal entity reporting requirements and interface with European headquarters. Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance plus 8 years of manufacturing experience; CMA or CPA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Advanced expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing finance principles
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting best practices
- Proven leadership capability
- Experience developing, mentoring, and building high-performing teams
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
