Job Summary
Manage daily accounting operations and periodic financial reporting, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting for gross margin analysis. Oversee comprehensive cash management, forecasting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable while supporting customer collections and ensuring local and state tax compliance. Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and support acquisition due diligence. Design ERP system improvements, enforce system and policy documentation, and prepare periodic financial reports. Requires a BA/BS in Accounting, 5–10 years in financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the financial reporting / general ledger area
- 3 to 7 years of prior management experience
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP including financial reporting, auditing, and budgeting experience
- PC-proficient
- strong experience working with the Microsoft Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Public Accounting experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (cost accounting)
- Experience with SAGE (ERP)
