Job Summary
Manage the plant's accounting and financial reporting function, executing monthly, quarterly, and annual closes while ensuring balance sheet reconciliations and control environment effectiveness. Lead weekly dashboard reporting of key performance indicators with sales, project management, and operations teams, and analyze return on capital expenditure projects and operational performance. Assist with annual budget and rolling forecast preparation, including variance and ROI analysis, while participating in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the COO and CFO on special projects. This role supports the financial growth of a $70M+ steel fabricator plant in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of related work experience in the accounting and finance field
- Proficient knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient knowledge of forecasting
- Proficient knowledge of variance analysis
- Proficient knowledge of ROI analysis
- Proficient knowledge of percentage of completion, project accounting
- Understanding of internal control design and operation for key business processes
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient knowledge of AI tools
- Proficient knowledge of financial reporting
- Proficient knowledge of ERP systems
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
