Plant Controller

Manage plant accounting support including cost accounting, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and preparation of financial control reports. Supervise manufacturing, inventory, and finished goods ledgers while compiling operating performance reports and analyzing unusual items. Administer bill of materials audits, distribute material and labor variances daily, and report monthly slow-moving inventory. Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and internal auditing standards while protecting company assets and reconciling inventory balances. Supervise the accounting team through hiring, training, performance appraisals, and managing overtime. Participate in plant management and product review meetings to assist with quarterly reviews and operations improvement activities.
