Job Summary
Oversee all financial control activities for the manufacturing plant, leading budgeting processes and preparing daily financial reports on production and expense metrics. Implement cost control programs to improve productivity and reduce expenses while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Develop financial models to support forecasting, long-term planning, and strategic decision-making through variance analysis and KPI monitoring. Manage inventory controls, participate in audits, and analyze capital spending projects. Communicate with plant personnel to observe operations and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification
- 5-7 years of experience in a Plant Controller or Plant Accounting Leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in financial software
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong Financial Presentation Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis
- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling
- Pre-employment background check, including a criminal record check and drug testing
