Job Summary
Plant Controller responsible for overseeing traditional controller duties and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting within the Appleton plant. Lead internal controls across operations, sales, and finance; manage cost accounting, inventory accuracy, and audit/compliance processes; monitor labor, material, overhead, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels; establish and maintain processes to verify data integrity and drive value through effective financial management. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters preferred), 5–10 years of manufacturing accounting experience, at least 3 years in a controller role, strong cost accounting background, ERP experience (PeopleSoft or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Masters preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
- At least 3 years in a current Controller position.
- Strong background in cost accounting.
- ERP experience is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
- ERP Familiarity: Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
