Job Summary
Plant Controller sought to manage the facility's financial operations near Lebanon, KY. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, implementing internal accounting controls, authorizing facility-related expenses, leading the accounting team through monthly and quarterly closures, providing financial analysis on operational results, developing annual profit forecasts and departmental budgets, overseeing inventory checks and cycle counts, managing local debt collection, evaluating capital investments, enhancing the controllership team's capabilities through training, performing analyses for the Group Controller or Lebanon Site Manager, and ensuring timely balance sheet reconciliations in Cadency. Regularly communicating financial outcomes to the Finance Director and aligning with corporate expectations. Comprehensive relocation assistance is provided to the qualified candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business major
- At least five years of plant accounting & finance experience in a manufacturing company
- In-depth understanding of cost accounting, general accounting, and auditing
- Proficiency in automated data processing systems
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing
