Job Summary
Plant Controller sought to oversee the plant's financial function in Brampton, Ontario. Responsibilities include managing plant accounting (AR, AP, fixed assets, inter‐company transactions, accruals), generating periodic financial reports, forecasting, driving continuous improvement of financial and production processes, approving journals and reconciliations, implementing internal controls, preparing annual budgets, supporting audits, and leading inventory counts/valuation. Preferred CPA/CMA/CA designation and experience in manufacturing and the automotive sector; AS400 experience and strong Excel skills are valued. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in an AS400 environment
- Leadership experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of Bill 198 internal control requirements
- Experience in the automotive sector
- CPA, CMA, or CA
