Job Summary
Plant Controller leading the plant's financial performance through budgeting/forecasting, KPI analysis, and robust financial reporting; oversees month-end close, inventory accounting (standard costing, variance analysis, cycle counts), and compliance with IFRS and SOX; partners with plant management to guide capital expenditures and cost-reduction initiatives; drives internal audits and strengthens internal controls while mentoring a team of accounting professionals to enable data-driven decisions and operational profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/CMA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP systems proficiency (Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Strong ethical principles and commitment to accuracy and integrity
