Job Summary
Lead day-to-day business partnership with Site Leadership by managing weekly KPI reporting, variance analysis, and cost savings initiatives. Own financial forecasting and annual planning for COGS, including raw materials, labor, and logistics costs, while governing standard costing and inventory valuation. Actively partner with project teams to drive performance, identify trade-offs, and escalate budget risks through regular reviews. Manage inventory and fixed asset cycles, oversee capital project budget-to-actual reporting, and evaluate operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes while supporting ERP reporting needs and driving governance controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment (cost accounting, inventory, capital)
- Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley
- strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLookups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- hands on, able to work independently and adaptable to change
