Job Summary
The Plant Controller leads financial controls and reporting for a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include managing cost and general accounting activities, product costing and capacity planning, payroll, AP/AR, fixed assets, and audits; developing and maintaining forecasting and budgeting models; delivering timely financial analyses and reports to plant leadership and corporate; supervising staff; coordinating with external auditors; and supporting management with data-driven insights to meet plant and corporate goals. Key skills include cost accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial systems maintenance, TQM and process improvement participation, and strong collaboration with management and auditors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with broad management accounting background, preferably with responsibilities over operational reporting in a manufacturing environment
