Job Summary
In this role as Plant Controller, you will be accountable for cost rates determination and maintenance as well as preparing and analyzing reports of variances to standard costs. Key responsibilities include conducting plant efficiency analysis, supporting Business Unit (BU) Controllers in standard rates for quotations, driving stay ahead savings, and executing month-end close activities. You will prepare forecasts and variance analyses and coordinate Annual Operating Plan activities. The position also involves overseeing the plant’s capital expenditure process and performing Investment Economic Analysis for projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in cost accounting and forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Administration/Economics/Industrial Engineering
- 3 to 5+ years of Cost Accounting/Controlling experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in forecasting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, AS400)
- Experience in financial reporting/analysis
- Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting
