Job Summary
Manage the Finance and Accounting function for Fremont, NE operations, including trial balance preparation, accrual entries, and transactional accounting for A/P, A/R, Inventory, HR/Payroll, and Fixed Assets within NetSuite. Execute month-end closing procedures, prepare financial results and operational metrics, and present performance variances against budget. Ensure balance sheet integrity, enforce internal controls, and support external auditors and tax advisors for annual filings. Maintain accounting procedures to facilitate CPA audits while administering the NetSuite ERP implementation.
Required Qualifications
- BS Accounting/Finance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with cost accounting principles and practices
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP
- 5+ years of industry related experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written skills
- Self-directed and accountable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Works well in teams with an ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- MBA a plus
- Detailed working knowledge of NetSuite ERP a plus
- CPA or CMA a plus
