Plant Controller

Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and the annual operational plan while analyzing current plant, sales, and corporate administrative results. Ensure physical inventory accuracy by conducting annual wall-to-wall counts and maintaining a perpetual inventory system reconciled daily with production and shipping. Perform material list audits to verify product costs and lead monthly audit reports, while conducting gemba walks with plant management to discuss production and cost matters. Review labor, material, and manufacturing cost reports, driving formal meetings with manufacturing and product management to address plant issues. Monitor assigned KPIs and the BOL metric through dialogue with production management, manage CAPEX, and ensure adherence to GAAP policies while resolving internal control questions with corporate finance.
