Job Summary

Plant Controller I is an entry-level finance management role focused on supporting day-to-day plant financial operations. It emphasizes job costing, financial reporting, budgeting support, and ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions and internal controls. The role collaborates with plant leadership and the corporate accounting team to provide foundational financial insights for operational decision-making, supports month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting, maintains inventory costing systems, and assists with audits and special financial projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 2-4 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or construction, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership teams. Knowledge of AIA billing and construction accounting practices is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction
  • Understanding of job costing and manufacturing financial metrics
