Job Summary
Manage and direct all plant finance efforts, including monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, P&L variance analysis, and budget preparation using zero-based budgeting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, establish profit plans, and provide forecasting models to leadership. Oversee internal controls, conduct plant audits for inventory accuracy, and lead cost savings initiatives by partnering with procurement and quality teams. Supervise two accounting staff, review performance appraisals, and ensure timely responses to accounts payable inquiries. First-line approver for plant requisitions and capital expenditures. This role supports JBS USA Prepared Foods' mission to deliver high-quality Italian meats and charcuterie through operational excellence and financial discipline.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position
- Solid understanding of standard cost accounting
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- MS Office proficiency
- SAP proficiency
- Excellent professional communication – both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaboration skills
- Ability to flex multiple work streams fluidly
- Occasional travel may be required
- Subject to extreme temperatures, humid/wet environments and other hazards common to a food manufacturing facility
